Problems and repairs

Can a broken denture be repaired in the Cotswolds?

What should I do first?

It is easy to panic when a denture breaks, especially if you have work, a meal out or a family occasion coming up. Start by telling the team what has happened and how urgently you need help.

Keep the denture and any loose pieces together. Do not throw away a tooth that has come off. The person assessing it needs to see what is there.

Call 01285 429014 or use our repair callback form. A callback request asks the team to contact you; it does not reserve a repair appointment.

What does the clinic need to know?

  • What broke: the base, a tooth or another part.
  • When it happened and whether it has broken before.
  • Whether it felt comfortable before the break.
  • Whether you have all the pieces.
  • Any date you are hoping to have it back by.

You do not need the technical name for the problem. “It snapped when I dropped it” or “a tooth came away while I was eating” gives the team a useful starting point.

Can it be fixed today?

Ask about current availability rather than travelling to the clinic expecting a while-you-wait service. The damage needs assessment, and the team must confirm the appointment and likely timing.

Before leaving your denture, ask when you should expect an update, how collection will work and what happens if a repair is not suitable. Mention any practical difficulty being without it causes you.

Should I glue it myself?

Do not use household glue or try to reshape the denture. Contact the clinic for advice, particularly if a broken edge is hurting your mouth. The goal is to have the problem checked, not to force the pieces together at home.

How do I arrange a repair assessment in the Cotswolds?

Cotswold Denture Clinic is at Unit 5, Butts Farm Courtyard, Poulton, Cirencester, GL7 5HY. Contact us before coming in so we can explain the arrangements.

Ask for a personal quote once the work has been assessed. We will explain the proposed repair and costs before you decide. If you are unsure whether to repair or replace it, read the questions to ask about both options.
